Brief description of die installation for tablet press
1. First, clean the machine and mold.
2. Apply enough grease to other parts of the upper punch except the ©punch, and place the upper punch in the hole of the upper punch pla te with the position of the keyway at the installation position of the punch dieγ.
3. Lift the upper die a little and insert the middle die into the upper punch. (It is recommended to wrap the upper punch with plastic film before closing✘ the middle mold to facilitate the adjustment of the gap in the following operations).
4. Align the middle punch hole, use the upper punch d♠ie to introduce the middle die into the middle punc×h hole, tap the upper punch tail lightly to make the middle die enter the punch hole> 1/3, re÷move the upper punch, insert the copper rod from the upper punch hole, tap the middle die" lightly to drive the middle die into the middle hole. Remove the copper rod.
5. Put the original upper punch into the upper punch< plate hole again, and gently press the upper punch to determine whether the upper punch can s moothly enter the middle die hole. If you can enter smoothly, please use y±our hand to press the upper punch, imitate the upper punch stamping action, listen carefully to t→he sound, there should be no obvious friction sound, feel the upper punch× should not rub against the middle die wall.
6. If there is obvious friction, please repeat the previous step,§ or press the upper punch into the middle die lightly, insert the aπdjusting rod or the lower punch into the middle die from the hole of the lower punch plate, ♣rotate the adjusting rod or the lower punch to adjust the gap between the middle die wall and ☆the upper punch, repeat the previous step, and confirm the gap aga♦in.
7. After confirming that the gap between the upper punch and the middle die wall is appropriate, i♣nstall the second group of upper punch and middle die in ®the same way. After confirming the gap, lock the f€astening screws between the two middle dies, press the two upper punches with a hand again, imitate the upper punch punching action, listen carefully to the£ sound, there should be no obvious friction sound, and the upper punch sh>ould not rub against the middle die wall.
8. Install the third group of upper punching middle d×ies according to the above method. After completion™, check the fit clearance of the second group, and install all tβhe punching dies in turn. After each group of middle dies are lockeπd, check the fit clearance of the adjacent group again.
9. After the installation of all upper punches is completed, ap≈ply sufficient lubricating oil to other parts of the lower punch except the punch, then gently i←nsert it from the hole of the lower punch plate, rotate the l←ower punch to align it with the hole of the middle die and then push it in. In this step, pay a∏ttention to the light action so as not to damage the lower punch.
10. Install all dies in turn. Re-confirm the clearance of each group of upper punches,♦ and repeat the previous steps to reinstall the dies with poor fit.
11. Confirm that the pressure of the machine has bee♠n reset to zero, and that the upper and lower punchi₹ng dies will not collide at the punching position (there is enough clea→rance between the upper and lower punches). Rotate the machine several times manually, and carefully check whether the cooperation between each pu nching die is good. For the die with poor fit, repeat the previous steps and reinstall it.
12. Low speed (15-20 r/min) no-load running for 20-30 <minutes, with load low speed (20-30 r/min) running for more than 30 minutes can be put₩ into normal production.
13. Please check the matching condition of each group of dies again after normal produc↑tion shift 1 (8 hours).
14. Before each installation, check the width of the upper punch guide key, which≈ cannot be less than the nominal size of 0.05mm, otherwise it sho↕uld be replaced.
15. Note: If you use a film to adjust the gap, please care₩fully remove the damaged film to prevent mixing with th∑e powder.
